Dr. Tim Krause is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing and New Media Technologies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He also serves as Department Chair and Director of the new Data Analytics major. He received his PhD from Purdue University in 2008. He received his BS degree from St. John’s University and his MA degree from St. Cloud State University. Dr. Krause has 20 years of industry and consulting experience, particularly in the areas of project management and human computer interaction (HCI). His research interests in include public-private partnerships with industry, HCI, and usability. He has published a number of papers on the same topics in a variety of journals and edited collections. Dr. Krause has been teaching the department’s capstone course every semester for the past ten years.
