Dr. Daehee Kim is an assistant professor in the Department of Computing and New Media Technologies at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He received his Ph.D. from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2015, and master’s degree from State University of New York in 2008. Dr. Kim has performed large-scale IT projects for more than 10 years for various companies. His research interests lie in the broad areas of big data, storage, and network; including big data analysis, big data transfer, data deduplication, cloud computing, and Internet application and deployments, network storage system and network protocols, and computer/network security. Dr. Kim is published in books as well as international conference and journal entries. He has been teaching various practical courses including Object Oriented Programming, Cloud Computing, Databased Design and Implementation, Computer Network, and Network Security at UWSP since 2015.
